City of Brillion Appoints Scott Feldt, MPA, to Serve as City Administrator

Brillion, Wis. (September 16, 2026): The City of Brillion is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott Feldt as City Administrator. Feldt has served as Interim City Administrator since November 2025 as a municipal advisor with Innovative Public Advisors (IPA). The interim period provided Feldt and the City time to work together, build relationships, and move key organizational priorities forward.

“The last several months gave us a great opportunity to see Scott’s leadership firsthand and for him to meet our organization and community,” said Mayor Mike Smith. “Scott has built strong relationships with our staff and Council. We are excited to have him continue leading our team!”

During his interim service, Feldt has overseen the City and utility’s $6.5 million annual budget and advanced several major initiatives, including development of a five-year capital improvement plan, a $23.6 million wastewater treatment facility and force main project, and continued redevelopment of the former Brillion Ironworks site.

“Brillion has a talented and dedicated team, a supportive Council, an engaged community, and a lot of positive momentum,” Feldt said. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to continue serving Brillion and excited about what we will accomplish together.”

Feldt brings extensive experience in local government, public administration, economic development, and government affairs. He served eight years as Kewaunee County Administrator, overseeing more than 150 employees across 25 departments and an annual budget of approximately $25 million. He also previously served as Deputy State Treasurer for the State of Wisconsin and held several leadership roles in economic development and government affairs. Feldt holds a Master of Public Administration and Public Policy and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
