The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in municipal administration, financial management, strategic planning, economic development, organizational leadership, and intergovernmental collaboration. They will foster a positive workplace culture by supporting employee development, promoting accountability and continuous improvement, and bringing people together to solve challenges, strengthen the City’s financial sustainability, advance responsible growth, and enhance Tomah’s exceptional quality of life.

Expected Hiring Range: $120,000 to $130,000 (DOQ)

Excellent benefits package and enrollment in Wisconsin Retirement System (WRS).

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Political Science, or a related field is required.

  • Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible upper-level management or municipal leadership experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in financial management, budgeting, capital improvement planning, economic development, organizational leadership, personnel administration, labor relations, and intergovernmental collaboration.

  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
