Village of Fox Point Appoints Steven Kreklow as Village Manager
Fox Point, Wis. (February 27, 2026): The Village of Fox Point is pleased to announce the appointment of Steven R. Kreklow as its next Village Manager. Kreklow brings more than 25 years of distinguished public sector leadership experience.
Kreklow will serve as Fox Point’s Chief Administrative Officer, overseeing daily operations, leading the annual budget process, supervising department heads, and implementing policies established by the Village Board.
Village Board President Christine Symchych expressed confidence in Kreklow’s appointment. “Steve’s depth of experience in municipal leadership, financial management, and organizational development makes him an outstanding choice for Fox Point,” said Symchych. “He has a proven track record of building strong teams, strengthening financial stability, and delivering high-quality services. We are excited to welcome him and look forward to working together to advance the priorities of our community.”
Kreklow holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and has completed doctoral coursework in political science with an emphasis in public administration. He most recently served as Village Administrator for the Village of Germantown, where he was responsible for overseeing all municipal operations, managing a budget of more than $30 million, and leading a team of more than 135 full-time employees. Kreklow held senior leadership roles with Milwaukee County, the Federal Office of Personnel Management, the Government Finance Officers Association, and the City of Milwaukee.
