Village of Jackson Appoints Lisa Heiser as Village Clerk
Jackson, Wis. (June 18, 2026): At a Special Board Meeting this evening, the Village of Jackson Board appointed Lisa Heiser to serve as the Village’s next Village Clerk.
Heiser holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Business from Sheffield Hallam University in England and has more than a decade of experience serving public educational institutions. Heiser currently serves as Executive Assistant to the Superintendent and School Board for the Kewaskum School District. She is responsible for meeting agendas, minutes, policies, public communications, website content, election-related activities, maintaining official records and policies, and serving as a key member of the district’s staff leadership team.
“Lisa’s experience supporting elected bodies, coordinating public meetings, maintaining official records, and communicating with the public has prepared her to excel in this role,” said Village Administrator Jen Heidtke. “She demonstrated professionalism, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to public service throughout the recruitment process. We are excited to welcome Lisa to the Village of Jackson team!”
As Village Clerk, Heiser will serve as a member of the Village Administrator’s management team and oversee official records management, elections administration, licensing and permitting, public meeting coordination, communications, and administrative office operations. She will also serve as the Village’s Custodian of Records and support the Village Board, commissions, and committees.

Heiser will commence her duties in July and will participate in the Wisconsin Municipal Clerks and Treasurers Institute at UW-Green Bay on July 13-17.
