Village of Mukwonago Appoints Kelley Graf, CPA, as Finance Director

Mukwonago, Wis. (March 18, 2026): The Village of Mukwonago is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelley Graf, CPA, as its next Finance Director. Graf was officially appointed tonight by the Village Board, and will begin her service with the Village on April 15, 2026.

Graf brings more than a decade of professional experience in municipal finance, public accounting, and higher education financial management. Her background includes extensive expertise in governmental accounting, GAAP and GASB financial reporting, audit coordination, internal controls, and financial analysis. Graf obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance and Accounting from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse. She previously served as the lead external auditor for the Village of Mukwonago during her tenure with Baker Tilly, providing her with a strong familiarity with the Village’s financial operations, reporting practices, and internal control environment. As Senior Accountant II with the Medical College of Wisconsin, Graf led complex financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting efforts, while collaborating with leadership to support strategic decision-making. Her experience also includes oversight of reconciliations, grant compliance, and audit preparation.

Village Administrator Diana Dykstra expressed enthusiasm for Graf’s appointment. “Kelley’s combination of technical expertise, municipal audit experience, and familiarity with Mukwonago makes her an outstanding addition to our leadership team,” said Dykstra. “Her strong foundation in governmental finance will advance the Village’s financial stewardship and organizational goals.”

As Finance Director, Graf will serve as the Village’s chief financial officer, providing strategic leadership and oversight of all financial operations, including budgeting, financial reporting, debt management, and internal controls. The position plays a critical role in maintaining the Village’s fiscal integrity and supporting long-range planning and capital investment. “I am honored to have the opportunity to serve the Village of Mukwonago as Finance Director,” said Graf. “Mukwonago is a vibrant community, and I look forward to contributing to its continued financial strength and long-term sustainability.”
