Village of Germantown Appoints Lisa Davis to Serve as Finance Director
Germantown, Wis. (June 15, 2026): Tonight, the Germantown Village Board appointed Lisa Davis to serve as Finance Director. Davis will officially commence her service on July 13, 2026.
Davis brings more than 20 years of progressively responsible experience in finance, accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and organizational leadership across both the public and private sectors. She currently serves as Business Manager for the Waukesha County Clerk of Circuit Courts, where she oversees financial operations, budget development and forecasting, financial reporting, audits, payroll, accounts payable, collections, and human resources functions. She also supervises a multidisciplinary team and serves in leadership roles focused on strategic planning and business continuity.
“Lisa’s experience and commitment to public service make her an outstanding addition to our leadership team,” said incoming Village Administrator Matt Trebatoski. “Her background in government finance, strategic planning, process improvement, and organizational leadership will help position Germantown for continued financial stability and long-term success.”
Prior to her current role, Davis served as Accounting Services Coordinator and Senior Financial Analyst for Waukesha County’s Department of Health and Human Services, managing financial operations for an $80 million department, overseeing grant administration and reporting, and implementing process improvements that enhanced transparency and operational efficiency. Davis holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Lewis University. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated expertise in budget management, financial reporting, strategic planning, policy development, grant management, and organizational improvement.
The Finance Director serves as a key member of the Village’s leadership team and is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, treasury management, financial reporting, long-term financial planning, and Finance Department operations. “I am honored by the opportunity to serve the Village of Germantown,” said Davis. “I look forward to working with the Board, staff, and community to support the Village’s financial goals and continue delivering exceptional services to residents.”
